    The Pontiac Lemans was considered by some to be the ugly sister to the Pontiac GTO. It had probably the same amount of horsepower and certainly had lines that were equal to or better as the GTO but for some reason it just didn't catch on in the imagination of the muscle loving public. Again, the Pontiac Lemans was a nice looking car that came in hardtop, four door and wagon. It had just as good of parts as the GTO but apparently the GTO was considered sexier for whatever reason.
