With the FMC-2 being used more and more to replace the defective FM section on original AM/FM radios due to the difficulty in finding working IF transformers and HF transistors, the FMC-2 has been modified to match the FMR to allow for reverse FM bands such as on the Blaupunkt radios. This way the FM section can be replaced and the tuning still match the dial. The method to enable this is the same as on the FMR. Consult Technical Manual for more information.
